Intro To eXp Email

Upon joining eXp Realty a company email address is created and a username and password is sent to your personal email address on file. All company correspondence from this point forward will be sent to your new email.

How To Merge Your Personal Email With Your eXp Email

eXp email lets you automatically forward incoming mail to another address, here’s how:

  1. Click the gear icon at the top of any eXp email page and choose Mail settings.
  2. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  3. From the first drop-down menu in the “Forwarding” section, select ‘Add new email address.’
  4. Enter the email address to which you’d like your messages forwarded.
  5. For your security, we’ll send a verification to that email address.
  6. Open your forwarding email account, and find the confirmation message.
  7. Click the verification link in that email.
  8. Back in your eXp email account, select the ‘Forward a copy of incoming mail to…’ option and select your forwarding address from the drop-down menu.
  9. Select the action you’d like your messages to take from the drop-down menu. You can choose to keep an eXp email copy of the message in your inbox, or you can send it automatically to All Mail or Trash.
  10. Click Save Changes.

How to Add Email Accounts to your eXp Email Account.

This type of forwarding will allow you to send and receive from the same email the message was sent to and you can create additional signatures for each account added.

  1. Click the gear icon at the top of any eXp email page and choose Mail settings.
  2. Click the Accounts tab.
  3. Click Add a POP3 mail account you own.
  4. In Email Address put your full email address and click Next Step.
  5. If it is a Gmail account, no need to put in incoming server info, otherwise, you will have to put in your POP account info in.
  6. Select the radio button Send through SMTP servers. Gmail or Google Apps settings are at the bottom of this page. All others, you will have to Google it, ask your email provider, or your email account help file. Make sure to use your whole email address as theUsername.
  7. Google will send a verification code email to the email account you are trying to pull in. Find the verification code and come back and put it in the text box in Accounts tab.
  8. In the Accounts tab, make sure to check Reply from same address the message was sent to.
